Anyway, a number of us have expressed interest in organizing a cultural event from my world that would take place near the end of the month on the new moon. Assuming the information I got was reliable, that should place it on the 28th.
I was wondering if any of the businesses that the Merchant Guild represents would be interested in participating in the event, either through sponsorships or just by setting up vendors in the Gardens, which is the tentative gathering place. It would be open to anyone, and could be rather lucrative for any Kedan that sends representatives.

The Guild doesn't represent individual businesses, but I will pass along notice of the... event. Many shopkeepers are still sorting their wares after the flooding.
We arbitrate trade deals between various businesses, provide funding and loans, and manage real estate within the city among other financially related tasks. We can recommend business owners take or decline various actions based on our experience, but we have no direct compel of them.

Does the Merchant Guild provide funding and loans only to Kedan or is it open to potential Foreigner businesses too?
